Title:
METHOD FOR OXIDIZING sp3C-H BOND
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/034515
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a method for oxidizing an sp3C-H bond, which enables high selectivity and high catalyst turnover number. This method for oxidizing an sp3C-H bond is characterized in that an sp3C-H bond is oxidized in the coexistence of a carboxylic acid, using a metal complex catalyst represented by general formula (1) as an oxidation catalyst, or in that an sp3C-H bond is oxidized using a metal complex catalyst represented by general formula (2) as an oxidation catalyst. (In general formula (1), R represents an alkyl group having 1-7 carbon atoms; M represents iron, manganese or cobalt; L represents an arbitrary ligand; X represents a counter ion; and n represents 0, 1 or 2.) (In general formula (2), M represents iron, manganese or cobalt; L represents an arbitrary ligand; X represents a counter ion; and n represents 0, 1 or 2.)
