Abstract:
This control device, which is for controlling polygon processing in which a polygon is formed on a surface of a workpiece by simultaneously rotating the workpiece and a tool, acquires information relating to misalignment, in the radial direction, of a cutting tool T attached to a tool body, and generates a pulse for correcting the misalignment, in the radial direction, of the cutting tool T. Further, the pulse is outputted to an X-axis servomotor 152 and a tool U is moved to a direction opposite to the misalignment, in the radial direction, of the cutting tool T. Accordingly, by correcting the misalignment, in the radial direction, of the cutting tool T, the accuracy of the polygon processing is improved.
