Abstract:
In order to prevent errors in attachment of equipment to a machine tool, there is provided a machine tool control device comprising: an acquisition unit that acquires first identification information identifying at least one of a jig, a tool, and a workpiece attached to the machine tool for the purpose of machining; an assessment unit that assesses whether a combination of a processing program to be executed for the purpose of machining and the first identification information acquired by the acquisition unit matches a correspondence relationship established in advance; and a notification unit that, when the result of assessment by the assessment unit is that the aforementioned combination does not match the correspondence relationship established in advance, issues a notification to prompt replacement of the jig or the workpiece.
