Abstract:
Provided is an invention for assisting with tasks involving identifying a tool that causes a drop in the machining accuracy of a workpiece. A machine tool (10) that can machine a workpiece using a plurality of tools comprises a display (205) and a control unit (50) for controlling the machine tool. The control unit (50) executes a process of acquiring machining information that defines the tool used in machining of a workpiece and the machining path for the tool in question, a process of displaying on a display a three-dimensional model of the workpiece generated based on the machining information, a process of accepting the designation of a location for the three-dimensional model displayed on the display, a process in which the tool used in relation to machining of the specified location is identified on the basis of the machining information, and a process in which information about the used tool is displayed on the display.
