Abstract:
A machine tool (100) comprises: a magazine (150) capable of holding a plurality of tools; a machine tool body (40B) for processing a workpiece by using at least one of the plurality of tools; and a control unit (50) for controlling the machine tool (100). The control unit (50) executes processing of obtaining tool information (224) related to the plurality of tools. The tool information (224) defines a tool type and a tool status of each of the plurality of tools. The status includes an abnormal state and a normal state. The control unit (50) further executes, on the basis of the tool information (224), processing of determining a tool in the abnormal state, for which a tool of the same type in the normal state is not present in the magazine (150), as a candidate to be collected, and predefined processing related to the tool as the candidate to be collected.
