Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a machine tool such that a correction amount for environmental temperature-based thermal displacement based on the temperature of the members constituting the machine tool can be precisely corrected by a worker. This machine tool is provided with a workpiece-clamping part for clamping a workpiece and a tool-clamping part for clamping a tool, and the machine tool rotates the workpiece and/or the tool and moves the workpiece and/or the tool in a prescribed direction so as to machine the workpiece with the tool. The machine tool is also provided with: a plurality of temperature sensors attached to the members constituting the machine tool; and an environmental temperature-based thermal displacement amount estimating section for calculating an environmental temperature-based thermal displacement amount on the basis of the temperature values measured by the plurality of temperature sensors. An environmental temperature-based thermal displacement correction amount is calculated by multiplying a calculated thermal displacement correction amount, which compensates for the environmental temperature-based thermal displacement amount, by a correction factor, and thermal displacement correction control is executed on the basis of the environmental temperature-based thermal displacement correction amount. In addition, a graph display function that assists adjustment of the correction factor is provided.
