Abstract:
This machine tool comprises: a motor (41) that includes a rotary shaft extending along a central axis (101) and capable of rotating in a first direction and a second direction, and that is supported to be able to rotate around the central axis (101); a drive side pulley (31) that is connected to the rotary shaft; a belt (36) that engages with the drive side pulley (31); a door that is linked to the belt (36); a first elastic member (81) that is provided on one side of the central axis (101) and that applies a tensile force in the second direction on the motor (41); a second elastic member (86) that is provided on the other side of the central axis (101) and that applies a tensile force in the first direction on the motor (41); a revolving unit (76) that is provided integrated with the motor (41) and that can revolve around the central axis (101); and a detecting unit (91 (91A, 91B)) that detects the revolving motion of the revolving unit (76).
