Abstract:
In this machine tool, a conveyance mechanism having a camera (131) is used to perform work of conveying a workpiece between an internal space (200) and an external space (260) on the outside of the internal space (200). The machine tool is provided with a movable cover (31) capable of motion between a first state in which the internal space (200) and the external space (26) are separated and a second state in which the internal space (200) is opened toward the external space (260), a fixed cover (51) provided in the internal space (200), and an identifier (71) that is supported by the fixed cover (51) in the internal space (200) and that is imaged by a camera (131) in order to position the conveyance mechanism with respect to the machine tool. When the movable cover (31) is placed in the first state, the identifier (71) is positioned facing the movable cover (31), and when the movable cover (31) is placed in the second state, the identifier (71) is positioned farther away from the movable cover (31) than in the first state.
