Abstract:
This machining assistance apparatus is provided with: a tool tip measurement device that measures the shape of the tool tip of a tool being rotated by a machining device, and also the rotational trace thereof; a three-dimensional tool data generation device that generates three-dimensional tool data in which the rotational trace is included, using contour data of actually measured tool data of the machining tool; a three-dimensional tool data storage device that stores the three-dimensional tool data; and a machining control data generation device 250 that generates control data of the tool with reference to the three-dimensional tool data and machining shape data. As a result, the machining accuracy in the machining device can be greatly improved.
