Abstract:
This magnetic geared rotary machine comprises: a stator including a plurality of stator magnets arranged so as to line up in a circumferential direction; a rotor including a plurality of rotor magnets arranged so as to line up in the circumferential direction and having fewer magnetic poles than the plurality of stator magnets; and a magnetic pole rotor including a plurality of magnetic pole pieces arranged so as to line up in the circumferential direction. Further, the magnetic pole pieces include: a first surface that faces the rotor in the radial direction; and a second surface that faces the stator in the radial direction and has a circumferential length that is longer than the circumferential length of the first surface.
