Title:
MAGNETO-SENSITIVE WIRE FOR MAGNETIC SENSOR AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/049597
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a magneto-sensitive wire (magneto-sensitive body) that extends the measurement range of a magnetic sensor and improves the thermal resistance and high-temperature durability thereof. The magneto-sensitive wire of the present invention comprises a Co-based alloy having a composite structure wherein crystal grains are dispersed in a non-crystalline phase. The Co-based alloy is, for instance, a Co-Fe-Si-B alloy. In this case, it is desirable that the total amount of Si and B is 20 to 25 at% relative to the entirety of the Co-based alloy. It is desirable that the mean diameter for the crystal grains is 70 nm or less, and that the area ratio for the crystal grains relative to the entire composite structure is 10% or less. For the magneto-sensitive wire, for instance, the cross section is circular, and the wire diameter is on the order of 1 to 100 μm. Such a magneto-sensitive wire is obtained, for instance, through a heat processing step of heating a non-crystalline wire comprising the Co-based alloy at a temperature that is the crystallization onset temperature or higher but lower than the crystallization termination temperature. In this case, it is desirable to perform this step while applying a tensile stress onto the non-crystalline wire.
