A mangosteen shell active substance extraction apparatus and a separation method, the mangosteen shell active substance extraction apparatus comprising a first leaching tank, a second leaching tank, a third leaching tank, a centrifuge cylinder and a filtering cylinder core, the first leaching tank, the second leaching tank, the third leaching tank and the centrifuge cylinder being affixed to a foundation sequentially from left to right; the filtering cylinder core is disposed above the first leaching tank, and a stirring assembly is disposed in the filtering cylinder core; the filtering cylinder core ascends and descends by means of a lifting mechanism, and the lifting mechanism is slidingly disposed on an annular rail; and the filtering cylinder core comprises a cylinder core body and a top cover.
