Abstract:
A manipulator (10) for a laser device is provided with: an arm mechanism, which has a hand piece, and which is rotatably supported to a supporting mechanism (11) by means of a joint (20); a balance member (40) having a spring (41), which generates a balance moment (Mb) that cancels the deadweight moment (Mw) of the arm mechanism; and a lock mechanism (50), which stops rotation of the arm mechanism in a balance abnormal state wherein the balanced state having the rotation of the arm mechanism due to the deadweight moment (Mw) is eliminated by means of the balance moment (Mb) is not maintained. In the balance abnormal state, influence of hand piece operability deterioration due to the arm mechanism rotation generated due to the fact that the balanced state is not maintained can be eliminated or reduced by means of the lock mechanism (50).
