Abstract:
Provided is a manufacturing method for a sliding member that includes a sliding component (10) and a non-sliding component (20), wherein the method comprises: a step for forming a film on the sliding component (10) by carrying out salt-bath soft nitriding on the surface thereof; a step for removing the film on a welding section (11) of the sliding component (10); and a step for welding the non-sliding component (20) which was not subjected to salt-bath soft nitriding and the welding section (11) of the sliding component (10).
