Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing a trivalent chromium plated component (100) that is obtained by forming a trivalent chromium plating film (3) on a sliding component of a device in which a fluid is sealed, the method comprising: a step in which a trivalent chromium plating film (3) is formed on a steel base material (1) or on a base plating film (2) that is formed on the surface of the steel base material (1); a step in which an external force is applied to the trivalent chromium plating film (3); and a step in which the trivalent chromium plating film (3) is subjected to baking after the application of the external force.
