Abstract:
A manufacturing method for a tire cord capable of suppressing the use of a diluent which produces the smoke emission of harmful substances and consumes energy, characterized by comprising the step of coating a twisted cord (6) by spraying an adhesive agent thereon in manufacturing the tire cord (7) having the twisted cord (6) and a rubber adhesive agent layer on the surface thereof. A coating device (1) in an example can be used. The coating device (1) comprises a plurality of coaters (2) for coating the twisted cord (6) by spraying the adhesive agent on the surface of the twisted cord (6). The coater (2) comprises a coating nozzle and a coating guide. The coating device (1) also comprises an interlacer (3), a low-speed pump (4), and an adhesive agent tank in which the adhesive agent (5) is filled.
