Abstract:
Disclosed is a marker (1) for motion capture which is used for motion capture of detecting the motion of an object and which is attached to a plurality of places of the object. The marker (1) is provided with: a magnetic sensor (2) which detects the respective components of the geomagnetic vector in mutually orthogonal triaxial directions of a marker coordinate system fixed to the marker (1); an acceleration sensor (3) which detects the respective components of the gravity acceleration vector in triaxial directions; a signal processing unit (4) which processes detected signals detected by the magnetic sensor (2) and the acceleration sensor (3); a power source unit (5) which supplies power to the signal processing unit (4); and a wireless means (6) for wirelessly transmitting data relating to the geomagnetic vector and the gravity acceleration vector processed by the signal processing unit (4), to an external receiving device.
