Abstract:
A desired bound material can be obtained by a single bookbinding instruction. A conveyance member for conveying, toward a binder (36b) located under a printer (36a), a printed material which is discharged from the printer (36a), the conveying member having a substantially U-shape in a cross-section taken in the longitudinal direction thereof. Ridges (362) extending in the direction of conveyance of the printed material are formed in a printed material conveyance path, and openings (363, 364) are formed at bend sections of the conveyance path at positions between the ridges (362). The outlet (365) for the printed material has a larger opening area than the inlet (361) therefor.
