Abstract:
A massage device configured so that, even if the size of the body parts, such as the lower legs, of each user which are to be treated is different, the massage device can provide optimum massage effect. This massage device (1) comprises: a massage section (7) provided with stationary massage members (15) and movable massage members (16); rotating shafts (9, 10) provided so as to penetrate through the base end side of the movable massage members (16); a drive section (11) for rotationally driving the rotating shafts (9, 10); a pair of left and right conversion sections (12, 13) for converting the rotational force of the rotating shafts (9, 10) into the movements of approach and separation of the movable massage members (16) from the stationary massage members (15); and an width adjustment mechanism (14) for enabling the position of the stationary massage members (15) to be adjusted in the direction in which the stationary massage members (15) approach and separate from the movable massage members (16).
