Abstract:
Disclosed is a coloring master batch, which comprises 100 parts by weight of surface-treated
titanium dioxide, 0.1 to 5.0 parts by weight of a metal soap, 0.01 to 2.5 parts by
weight of an antioxidant, and 25 to 300 parts by weight of a polyolefin as a carrier
resin, wherein the surface-treated titanium dioxide comprises titanium dioxide
coated with a surface layer, where the surface layer comprises aluminum oxide
in an amount of 0.1 to 5.0% by weight and a silicone-based or polyol-based organic
treatment agent in an amount of 0.3 to 2.5% by weight, relative to the amount of
the titanium dioxide. By using a composition comprising the master batch and
an polyolefin, formation of any undesirable odor can be prevented even when the
production or laminating of a film is performed at a high temperature. For example,
the composition can be extrusion-laminated on a base paper to produce a laminate
material for use in a paper-made container for a liquid material.
