Abstract:
Provided is a mat (1) capable of facilitating breathing in a supine position. The mat (1) comprises: a pair of ilium support parts (11) which respectively support, from below, sites corresponding to the pair of ilia (LM), by each being disposed below a respective site corresponding to at least a width-wise outer part (LMb) of the iliac crest (LMa) of a respective one of the pair of ilia (LM) of the pelvis (PV); and a sacrum corresponding part (12) which is disposed between the pair of ilium support parts (11) and is positioned below the sacrum (S) between the pair of ilia (LM) of the pelvis (PV). The pair of ilium support parts (11) and the sacrum corresponding part (12) are configured such that the body pressure from the sacrum corresponding part (12) is less than the body pressure from the pair of ilium support parts (11).
