Abstract:
A measurement device is capable of performing a process of measuring the impedance of an organism by applying an electric current to the organism. The measurement device is provided with three or more electrodes and a control unit for controlling the application of the electric current. The control unit measures the impedance of the organism when an electric current is applied to the organism for a prescribed plurality of combinations that are combinations of electrodes constituted by a plurality of electrodes selected from the three or more electrodes, and, on the basis of the measured impedance, determines one combination, among the prescribed plurality of combinations, to be used in the process of measuring the impedance of the organism.
