The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a measurement system and a radio wave blocking unit that use a radio wave absorbing member, wherein the radio wave absorbing member has a light-transmissive property to transmit light while absorbing radio waves other than radio waves to be measured, and can be therefore favorably used for measurement of radio wave characteristics. The measurement system comprises: a measurement target device 11; a measurement device 12 for measuring the measurement target device by radiating and/or receiving radio waves; and a radio wave absorbing member 10 that has a light-transmissive property and absorbs radio waves in the millimeter wave band or higher. The radio wave absorbing member includes a radio wave absorbing sheet 1 adhering to one surface of a light-transmissive support member 2. The radio wave absorbing sheet 1 includes a resistive film 3, a dielectric layer 4, and a radio wave blocking layer 5, which are all light-transmissive and are stacked on one another in order. The radio wave absorbing member blocks and/or absorbs unnecessary radio waves around the measurement target device.
