Abstract:
A portable measuring device (10) is configured to be capable of performing BLE communication with an information processing apparatus (20). The measuring device (10) acquires a user's biometric information; receives a first advertising packet transmitted from the information processing apparatus (20) in a predetermined period; upon reception of the first advertising packet, starts encryption of the biometric information using a public key; calculates an estimated distance between the measuring device (10) and the information processing apparatus (20) on the basis of the received radio wave intensity of the first advertising packet; and transmits a second advertising packet containing the encrypted biometric information when the estimated distance has become less than a first threshold value.
