Abstract:
Provided is a medical device for removing an unwanted object from within a blood vessel such as an artery or a vein, i.e., a blocking object which constricts or blocks the lumen of a blood vessel. A medical device (1) has a long body provided with an expandable inside member (611) and an expandable outside member (610) disposed at the distal end of the long body, the inside member being a traumatic member, and the outside member being an atraumatic member.
