Provided is a medical image-processing apparatus with which diseases can be diagnosed easily. The medical image-processing apparatus has a morphology-specifying means, a function-calculating means and a display-processing means. The morphology-specifying means specifies morphological data pertaining to the thickness of a cardiac muscle of a subject or the thickness of an area surrounding same from medical image data obtained by filming the subject using a medical imaging apparatus. The function-calculating means calculates cardiac function data pertaining to the movements of the cardiac muscle of the subject on the basis of the medical image data. The display-processing means expresses combinations of the specified morphological data and calculated cardiac function data with colors and displays same on a display means.
