A medical puncture needle (10) includes: a body section (14) in which an inner cavity (12) through which a chemical solution flows is formed in the interior thereof; a needle tip section (16) that protrudes from the body section (14) toward a distal-end section (20) with a decreasing diameter, while maintaining a certain thickness, and that has, in the interior thereof, a hollow section (22) that is in communication with the inner cavity (12); and a chemical-solution passage hole (24) that is formed in an inclined needle tip surface (16a) of the needle tip section (16), that passes through the needle tip section (16) to be in communication with the hollow section (22), and that has an inner diameter that is smaller than an inner diameter (d2) of the inner cavity (12), wherein the distal-end section (20) of the needle tip section (16) is formed in an area extending 1 mm or less from the body section (14) in the direction of a center line (C) of the inner cavity (12).
