[PROBLEMS] A medicine dispenser with which, when a medicine is supplied to a medicine cassette or typically when a medicine once placed in a vial is dispensed to a medicine cassette (medicine receiving container), a medicine cassette to which a medicine is to be supplied is accurately and efficiently specified. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Information used for specifying a medicine is read (S202) by reading a prescription code d31 recorded as a bar code on a vial or is inputted (S221) as search information through an operating section. As a result, a cassette shelf (2) (cassette code d21) on which a medicine cassette (1) for receiving a medicine corresponding to that input information is mounted is specified (S203, S224), and a shelf lamp (3) provided at the specified cassette shelf (2) is brought into a predetermined notification display state (blinking state).
