Provided is a medicine filling device which can be used even when the size and shape of vials, which are used to be filled with medicine, changes without having to replace any members or to perform special operations. Specifically, provided is a medicine filling device provided with a discharge unit (90) which receives, from a medicine filling means, vials that are already filled with medicine, and which can discharge the vials to a vial discharge window. The discharge unit(90) is provided with: a vial holding means (92) having a pair of holding arms (92a, 92b) which can hold the vials; a holding means main body (94) which is provided with the vial holding means (92); a movement means (96) which moves the vial holding means (92) from the medicine filling means to the vial discharge window; and an orientation changing mechanism (98) which can change the orientation of the holding means main body (94). The orientation changing mechanism (98) is actuated in association with the movement of the holding means main body (94) towards the vial discharge window, and the holding arms (92a, 92b) are extended towards the outside of the vial discharge window.
