Abstract:
A banknote receiving and dispensing machine provided with conveyance paths having a length reduced to minimize the occurrence of jamming of banknotes.
A banknote receiving and dispensing machine comprises the following connected to each other by conveyance paths: a customer service section (1) having a banknote receiving and dispensing opening; a discrimination section (3) for discriminating banknotes; a temporary holding section (4) for temporarily holding banknotes; a switchover blade (6) for selecting the direction of conveyance of the banknotes discriminated by the discrimination section (3); a switchover timing sensor (5) for detecting the switchover timing of the switchover blade (6); and a denomination cassette (11) for containing banknotes. Among the conveyance paths, a path which connects from the discrimination section (3) to the customer service section (1) is provided with a conveyance path (20) formed in a circular arc shape.
