Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to enhance the accuracy of remaining medium detection. [Solution] A medium transaction device comprising: a container unit that contains a medium; a liftable stage which is provided inside the container unit, and on which the medium is accumulated; a conveyance roller which is provided above the container unit, separates the medium accumulated on the stage, and conveys the medium to a conveyance gate; a detection unit that detects whether the medium remains on the stage; a tongue piece roller having a tongue piece that flicks away the medium remaining on the conveyance gate; and a control unit that operates the tongue piece roller when the medium is not detected as remaining by the detection unit.
