Abstract:
A memory management method and an electronic device, which relate to the technical field of terminals. Memory management can be performed by taking a service or a functional module of an application program as the granularity, thereby improving the memory management performance of an electronic device. The method is applied to an electronic device, and the method comprises: detecting the running state of a first application; and when it is detected that the running state of the first application is switched from a first running state to a second running state, processing a partial memory which is used by the first application, wherein the partial memory is a memory associated with a target service of the first application, and the target service is a non-key service of the first application in the second running state.
