Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a message sending method, a PIN management method, a communication apparatus, and a communication system. The method comprises: a user plane network element receiving a message, wherein the message comprises an address of a PIN element network element; the user plane network element determining a packet detection rule that matches the address of the PIN element network element; and the user plane network element sending the message to a PIN gateway network element according to tunnel information of the PIN gateway network element in a forwarding action rule corresponding to the packet detection rule. In the solution, according to a correspondence between the PIN gateway network element and the PIN element network element, the user plane network element sends to the PIN gateway network element the received message needing to be sent to the PIN element network element, and the PIN gateway network element sends the message to the PIN element network element, thereby facilitating the correct and rapid sending of the message.
