Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application provide a message transmission method and apparatus, relates to the field of communications and can improve the safety of communication between a diagnosis apparatus and a device in a vehicle. The method comprises: using a first key to encrypt a first message so as to obtain a first encrypted message; generating a first verification code according to the first encrypted message and a freshness value for indicating information relevant to timeliness of the first encrypted message; and sending the first encrypted message, the freshness value and the first verification code to an electronic control unit in a vehicle.
