Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a meta-lens that can condense terahertz waves at a high condensing efficiency. The problem is solved by a meta-lens having a first region in which a plurality of micro-structures are arranged and which condenses the terahertz waves, and a second region different than the first region and surrounding the first region, wherein, when terahertz waves having wavelengths of 0.3, 1 mm, and 3 mm are incident, and the wavelength having the highest condensing efficiency is defined as wavelength X, the transmittance of the wavelength X in the first region as transmittance T1, and the transmittance of the wavelength X in the second region as transmittance T2, the transmittance T2 is lower than the transmittance T1.
