Abstract:
The present invention relates to a metasurface structure and the like provided with a structure for obtaining the desired optical characteristics. This metasurface structure is provided with: a substrate having a first surface and a second surface that face each other; and a plurality of antennas arranged as a plurality of microstructures along the first surface. The substrate comprises a base section and an adjacent section. The plurality of antennas each have a first refractivity and comprise an antenna end surface constituting part of the first surface. Part of the adjacent section is positioned between the plurality of antennas, and said adjacent section has a second refractivity differing from the first refractivity and comprises an adjacent section end surface constituting the remainder of the first surface. The plurality of antenna end surfaces and the adjacent section end surface constitute a flat surface serving as the first surface.
