Abstract:
A method and apparatus for adjusting the image quality of a video. The method comprises: according to a grayscale image of a current video frame, acquiring a brightness histogram of the current video frame; according to the brightness histogram of the current video frame, acquiring the number of left pixel points, the number of right pixel points and the number of pixel points, which are averaged into three parts, of the brightness histogram; according to the number of left pixel points and the number of right pixel points of the brightness histogram, adjusting the brightness of the current video frame; and according to the number of pixel points which are averaged into three parts, adjusting the contrast of the current video frame. The method and apparatus can automatically adjust the brightness and the contrast of an output video according to the image quality of an input video so as to enhance watching experience.
