Title:
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ANAEROBIC DIGESTION TREATMENT OF ORGANIC WASTE LIQUID
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/083456
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An apparatus for the anaerobic digestion treatment of an organic waste liquid
which, even under a high organic-matter loading, can reduce the amount of organic
substances without the need of increasing a heating energy or the amount of a flocculant
to be used and which enables methane gas to be recovered in an increased amount.
An organic sludge (organic waste liquid) is introduced into a high-temperature
digestion tank (1) and subjected to anaerobic digestion at 45-95°C. The
digested sludge in this high-temperature digestion tank (1) is introduced into
a medium-temperature digestion tank (2) and subjected to anaerobic digestion
at 25-40°C. Part of the digested sludge in this medium-temperature digestion
tank (2) is drawn out and concentrated with a solid-liquid separator (3). The
liquid separated in the solid-liquid separator (3) is discharged from the system.
Part of the sludge concentrated is returned to the medium-temperature digestion
tank (2) through a return piping (4). Part of the digested sludge sent from the
medium-temperature digestion tank (2) is drawn out through a piping (5) and modified
with a modification device (6). The sludge modified is returned to the high-temperature
anaerobic digestion tank (1) through a return piping (7).
