A method and apparatus for generating a training data set, a device, and a readable storage medium. The method comprises: generating a defect sample picture set (S10); respectively inputting at least one picture in the defect sample picture set into a distortion interference system, the distortion interference system being a system for distorting inputted pictures, the distortion interference system comprising a panel display distortion system and an imaging distortion system, the panel display distortion system being a system which enables pictures to have different distortions due to different panel display parameters, and the imaging distortion system being a system which enables the pictures to be distorted due to imaging interference factors (S20); and using a picture set outputted by the distortion interference system as training data (S310). By means of said method, a training data set of relatively high diversity and authenticity is generated, thereby enabling a deep neural network model which is obtained by training on the basis of a training data set and which is used for defect detection to have high generalization and universality.
