Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a communication scheme and system for convergence between an IoT technology and a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate beyond a 4G system. The disclosure may be applied to intelligent services (e.g. smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail business, and security and safety-related services), based on a 5G communication technology and an IoT-related technology. A method performed by a terminal is provided. The method includes identifying a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) scheduled by a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), and a second PDSCH without a corresponding PDCCH; identifying that the first PDSCH and the second PDSCH are overlapped in time; and decoding the first PDSCH on a basis that the PDCCH scheduling the first PDSCH ends at least 14 symbols before the starting symbol of the second PDSCH.
