Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for implementing point to point remote loopback of Ethernet, which is applied to a controlling end and/or a controlled end in a process of establishing and/or stopping the remote loopback. The method includes: monitoring its own states; and judging whether there is any predetermined subsequent operation in its own present state according to received operation signals or state change information. The present invention also provides an apparatus for implementing point to point remote loopback of Ethernet. The solution of the present invention enables the controlling end and the controlled end in various abnormal states to perform the subsequent operation or restore to the Operation and Maintenance (OAM) normal state.
