The embodiments of the present invention disclose a modulation method and device, wherein the modulation method includes: processing at least two data blocks, outputting at least two single carrier orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signals, the at least two data blocks include a first data block and a second data block, the at least two single carrier orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signals include a first single carrier orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal corresponding to the first data block and a second single carrier orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal corresponding to the second data block, the difference between the central carrier frequency RF1 of the first single carrier orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal and the central carrier frequency RF2 of the second single carrier orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal is the integer multiple of F0, wherein the F0 is the bandwidth of the subcarrier (A1); transmitting at least two single carrier orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signals (A2). The modulation method and device provided by the embodiments of the present invention can be used in the long-term evolution system or enhanced long-term evolution system, can improve the spectrum usage rate and save the spectrum resources.
