Provided in the present disclosure are a method for sending a message to be transferred, and a mobile robot, a storage medium and an electronic apparatus. The method for sending a message to be transferred comprises: determining a content identifier of unspecified location information, wherein the content identifier comprises at least one of the following: a content type, a content name, and a network transfer parameter during content access; and determining a target IP address according to the content identifier, and sending, to the target IP address, a message to be transferred, wherein the target IP address is used for addressing, in a network, a content provider of the content identifier or a gateway to which the content provider belongs. By means of the technical solution, the problem of it being impossible for application layer protocols comprising a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) to support realizing communication with unspecified location information on the basis of a content name is solved.
