Abstract:
The present application provides a rendering method. The rendering method is used in a rendering system. The rendering method is used for rendering an application; the application comprises at least one model; each model comprises a plurality of spatial buffer zones; and each spatial buffer zone comprises a plurality of angular areas. The method comprises: in a process of rendering a current frame of an application, determining an angular area where an intersection between an exit ray and a model is located as a target angular area; obtaining an intermediate rendering result of the target angular area pre-calculated before rendering the current frame, the intermediate rendering result of the target angular area being determined according to pre-rendering results of multiple incident rays passing through a target spatial buffer zone where the target angular area is located; and calculating a rendering result of pixels in a current view plane according to the intermediate rendering result of the target angular area. In the rendering method, the pre-calculation of the incident light and exit light reduces the overall computing complexity and real-time computing complexity in a ray tracing process, thereby effectively improving ray tracing calculation efficiency while ensuring high-quality rendering results.
