Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and to an apparatus for spreading a mat for a material panel, comprising at least one spreader unit (2, 9) for application of a first material in a layer (3, 9) having a predetermined width (4) on a continuously circulating forming belt (1) during the production of material panels, and wherein by means of at least one spreader unit (2, 9) material is applied in a layer (3, 9) having a predetermined width (4) and by means of at least one second spreader unit (5) having at least one material feed (15) a layer of a material having a differentiated basis weight profile is applied in and/or transversely to the production direction (10). The differentiated basis weight profile is preferably designed as strips (6). The invention is characterised in that the second spreader unit (5) has at least one spreading roller (12). The invention advantageously demonstrates that, in particular during the production of material panels having at least one oriented layer, spreading individual strips (6) allows material and weight to be saved and at the same time improves the usability of the produced panels. The invention further relates to a material panel, in which the differentiated basis weight profile or the strips and in particular the orientation and/or the conditioning of the material can improve the usability of the material panel in an advantageous manner.
