Title:
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SPREADING A NONWOVEN DURING THE PRODUCTION OF MATERIAL PANELS, AND A MATERIAL PANEL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/180881
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and to an apparatus for spreading a nonwoven on a continuously circulating forming belt during the production of a material panel in a press, comprising at least one spreader unit (2, 9) for application of a first material (A) in a layer (3, 9) having a predetermined width (4) and comprising at least one second spreader unit (5) having at least one material feed (15) for application of a layer of the first and/or of a second material (A, B, C) having a differentiated basis weight profile onto the forming belt (1) in and/or transversely with respect to the production direction (10). The problem addressed by the invention is that of improving the continuous or cyclical compression of a nonwoven which has different basis weights over the width and length. According to the invention a conditioning device (25) is arranged for at least partial conditioning of the first and/or second material (A, B, C) for the second spreader unit (5). The invention further relates to a material panel, which is in particular produced according to the aforementioned method or in an aforementioned apparatus and features differently conditioned material and thus particularly preferably differentiated composite structures.
