The present application relates to the technical field of intelligent management, and discloses a method for washroom control, comprising: under the condition that a stall of a washroom is locked, determining a defecation type of a user, and recording a use duration of the stall; and controlling the outer side of a door plate of the stall to display the defecation type and the use duration, wherein the use duration is reset to zero under the condition that the stall is unlocked. By displaying the defecation type and the use duration on the outer side of the door plate of the stall, the user can grasp, under the condition that many people exist in the washroom, the defecation condition of the user who is defecating in the stall, such that the waiting time of the user is reasonably arranged. The situation that the waiting time is too long because a user waiting for defecation waits around blindly in front of the door of the stall can be avoided, and user experience is improved. The present application further discloses an apparatus for washroom control, and a terminal device.
