Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for a cleaning robot operating adaptively to a stepped portion on a floor, and a cleaning robot. A cleaning robot operating adaptively to a stepped portion on a floor, according to one embodiment of the present invention, includes a central control unit which controls a height adjusting unit controlling the height of a floor cleaning unit by using height information of a space stored in a map storage unit and height information sensed by a sensing unit.
