Abstract:
Provided are a method for controlling a terminal to save energy, and a network side device and a terminal, wherein same belong to the technical field of communications. The method for controlling a terminal to save energy comprises: a network side device configuring energy saving information on at least one first resource, wherein the energy saving information comprises activation or deactivation information of at least one second resource, and the first resource and the second resource are carriers and/or BWPs; and the network side device sending the energy saving information. By means of the method for controlling a terminal to save energy provided in the present invention, a network side device can send energy saving information to the terminal even when there is no data needing to be transmitted, such that the terminal determines, according to the energy saving information, the at least one second resource to be activated or deactivated; and when a service changes, the terminal can adjust the bandwidth by activating or deactivating the second resource in a timely manner, thereby reducing the power consumption of the terminal.
