Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are a method for data frame transmission and a related device capable of effectively improving the utilization efficiency of bandwidth resources used to indicate multiframes. The method comprises: first, generating data frames, an overhead region of the data frame comprising a target bit, the target bit simultaneously indicating at least two multiframes, the multiframe comprising multiple continuous data frames, different multiframes comprising different numbers of data frames, different overhead information being inserted into different multiframes, and the data frames being optical transport network (OTN) data frames; and then transmitting the data frames.
